  • "Go to the people and places that set a spark in your soul." Andre's Bistro & Bar is the perfect neighborhood French Bistro! The Monte Carlo lost out when they opted to move on from Andre's, but fortunately for residents on the southwest side of town, Chef Rochart and his team decided to reinvent themselves in a familiar bistro style concept the neighborhood should adore. Andre's Bistro & Bar doesn't bring with it all the sophistication of their former establishment, but they do bring absolutely incredible food and excellent service. The setting and ambiance are ideal for their new Summerlin hood--elevating what the former DW Bistro had to offer, while bringing along a few remnants from their previous incarnation. I really enjoyed dinning in this space. It has a warm, inviting felling, and there was a great energy throughout the restaurant the evening that we came. The food doesn't disappoint. My love and I started with the escargot and then shared the Mushroom Risotto and the Lamb Shank, before finishing our meal off with the Grand Marnier SoufflĂ©. We were dinning with our best friends and took the opportunity presented to try the Roasted Beet Salad as well. The menu features classic and refined French cuisine as well as a few contemporary items. The wine list nice and features some quality new world wines as well as several French wines. Andre's Bistro & Bar is nice enough to take a date to, but it is really is an excellent choice for a double date, a small group of friends, or a business lunch.
