I used to rave about this place back when it was under the old management. I didn't think I'd ever go to another shoe repair place again. I took ankle books and knee-high boots there that were so worn out that the white plastic part in the heel was exposed so much so that the nail underneath the plastic was also wearing down! On top of that, the suede fabric used to cover the heel had unattached from the heel and was flopping about in a very unattractive way. These boots were so old you could not put the boot down without them flopping over because there was absolutely no support in the heel. I got them back and they were perfect! You could not tell at all that they had been repaired. Mike had somehow managed to make them look as good as new!
Fast forward to new management. Not bad, just not the same quality work as before. I took another pair of boots to repair the heel. The heels were just slightly worn down; nothing as bad as the boots I had taken to Mike's Shoe Repair before. They did a good job, but you can tell that it was repaired. When I first got them back, the heels were one solid colour. After a couple weeks of wearing, the heel color of the repaired section turned a lighter black than the rest of the heel so it's kind of noticeable that the heels had been repaired.
Cash only. I've only ever left my boots and then come back two weeks later so not sure about the turn around time.
