  • Drinks are seriously overpriced, as in: more expensive than the Ritz or other hotel lounge (10$ for a beer!). Typical unfriendly wait staff, for which Montreal hip bars are so well known, 20-something crowd, playing above their pay grade, beautiful plants, but the atmosphere lacks a spark of genuine idiosyncrasy or spirit or whatever. Maybe it's your crowd; wasn't mine.
