  • This may seem an unusual review because I did not actually get cookies delivered by Design. I want to applaud their customer service though, which is so rare in this day and age, in my experience. I had ordered Gluten Free cookies from the website yesterday as a Mother's Day gift. I got a call first thing this morning from Dale at the Scottsdale Cookies By Design apologizing that while many Cookies By Design stores have gluten free option, theirs does not. He asked if I wanted to cancel my order or to order something that was not gluten free. While my first thought was to be annoyed by the website not catching this issue (and they still should), I realized that by Dale taking the time to call me right away and by not trying to push me into getting non-gluten free cookies I still had time to order cookies from another site for delivery before Mother's Day. If he had waited and not been so proactive, I would have missed my window. Thank you to Dale for being so customer service oriented and I accept your apology.
