| - I've had several interactions with Dave's Auto and all have been pleasant and positive. Dave and his team not only have the experience, but are trustworthy and transparent about cost and best next steps. I highly recommend!
The very first: a few years ago, I had my car towed there after hours, so I left a message. Dave looked at my car the next day and said he had seen problems like that before with the particular make/model and it wasn't worth fixing. He graciously did not charge me nor did he charge me for the day or so it was there before my dad could pick it up.
The most recent: I rolled my fairly new car in, not knowing what was wrong (the gears switched funny and I couldn't go over 35 mph). Since I was a walk-in, Dave wasn't sure when he'd be able to take a look, to which I said was fine. At the end of the day, he called to let me know mice chewed through my wiring harness and kindly walked me through what to do for checking if my insurance covered it and what the process would look like if they did. Fortunately, they did, and although I was without a car for a week, Dave took the time to set my expectations, make recommendations, and answer my questions.
