| - Stayed here for 3 nights. Check in is easy. My parents own Wyndham timeshare and let me use their points,so I thought, what the heck, easy right? No pushy people trying to get visitors who already own their timeshare..... umm, wrong. Immediately upon check in---wham! you are greeted then are given the timeshare speech. Umm, NO IS NO, NOT Interested, Don't need it. Sigh. They are persistent. It's really annoying to have this pushed in your face after you decline like 10 times and are ignored. Then after giving in so that they'd shut up and I am able to go to my room, they say, "if you don't show up, you will be charged"..... WHAT?! You also have to sign a waiver/agreement saying you understand the charge if you don't show up. After much persistence, I got "waived" the no-show fee. GIVE ME MY KEY!
Why the 2 stars you say? The resort is nice. The rooms are spacious (we got the 2 bedroom) and the kitchen is great. I liked the hot tub. Used it once due to the short stay. Overall, the staff (housekeeping) are friendly.....unlike the pushy front desk people, including the managers. Do I recommend this place? Hmm.... if you can withstand the BS for the timeshare, yes; if not, NO.
