  • Arrived and room not ready, needed to accomplish work, wanted to be in the warmth and sun with something to drink. Small backpack/rolling luggage not welcome. My work is in it; can't check it. I asked if they could search the bag for glass and weapons - no. I asked if this was an inflexible rule for the sake of - yes. Inflexibility without rationale is unaccommodating, poor business, and in my experience uncommon - it's a pool lounge, not grade school. I don't appreciate being told no "because I said so", effectively.
