Came here for a business dinner while in town for a trade show. Reservations were made four months in advance when we knew we were coming to Las Vegas. Located in the Paris hotel was a plus as I was staying here as well.
As we waited for our entire group to show we had drinks in the seated bar area. The design of this venue was probably the biggest negative I just didn't like it. You enter by going through a round tunnel entrance that got you to the bar, it just didn't seem warm and inviting.
Once our entire group was there we still stayed in the bar area. I guess they don't want to rush you or they are that packed. Our table was on the 2nd floor so we took the elevator up. The tables over looked a part of the downstairs area.
Once seated the menu and offerings were plentiful. We were even shown a display of the different cuts of meat. It was impressive! They also offer a pre-fixed meal with Gordon Ramsey's selections that comes with his signature and photo. It looked like a lot of food and no one in our group got this.
We did start with a seafood tower that was very well presented. It sat on the table and the base was a metal octopus. Everything was cold, fresh and delicious.
Actually due to the time change my appetite was not the usual so I convinced one of my friends to share. We had the 8 ounce filet that they served on two plates. Even 4 ounces I could not finish but it was truly cooked to perfection. For a starter we had the beet salad again half portion was a lot but fresh and delicious. The waiter had brought everyone at our table of five a complimentary scotch egg a signature dish of Gordon Ramsey.
There was one person in our group who was a big fan of Gordon Ramsey and he had another signature dish the Beef Wellington. Everyone was very happy with their meal.
We had a birthday at our table so we all had a taste of her dessert yet another signature dish. Sticky toffee pudding with brown butter ice cream. It was probably one of the best presented desserts I had ever seen.
My colleagues enjoyed their wine and no one rushed them. I don't follow Gordon Ramsey as a chef before this dinner. However I can see why he is so popular as well as he has many different restaurants in Las Vegas to try. Maybe next time Hell's Kitchen we will try.
