I think the store is really cool but my last visit left me very disappointed and angry with the service.
I came in to buy cards and knew exactly what I wanted. I approached a young man behind the counted and told what I wanted and which binder he could find it in.
He grabbed the binder from behind the counted and dropped it in front of me and said "good luck finding it, it should be in there." I opened the binder and quickly found exactly what I was looking for. I tried to regain the attention of the young man with no luck, he already moved on to doing something else.
So, I took the cards I wanted from the binder and brought it to the cashier. I told the cashier how much the cards cost from the price in the binder, which was 50 cents each. We went to go double check, which I understand.
He asked me who helped me and I pointed to the young man because I didn't`know his name.
The cashier left to check with the young man and as they came back to the cash register where I was standing, the young man spoke to me in very condescending tone "you're not suppose to the take the cards out your self". He repeated this a few times.
This left me angered and disappointed. It not my fault that he didn't have the "time" to help me from start to finish. I am a paying customer and I do not appreciated being scolded like a child because he didn't have the decency to assist me throughout the whole transaction.
Working in customer service myself. I expect a certain level of customer service when I go into a store or restaurant. This bar isn't that high. And that day, 401 games fell short of that bar.
I probably wont go back here for a while because of this experience.
