  • Target, you really missed the mark. Even though you're attempting to go down in a blaze of glory, I still walked around your store, wearing my wallet on my sleeve, trying to get suckered into liquidation deals and to purchase a tonne of junk that I didn't need, and... No success. You say that every thing is "up to 30% off" and what you mean is "somewhere hidden deep within the depths, we have placed an item at 30% off. Everything else that anybody even might want to take off of your hands is 10% off... The sad problem with this is a good majority of the stuff you have on sale is the same junk I can get at Wal-Mart for less than your sale price every single day. I had a small basket put together of 20% off office supplies and I was unable to find nearly enough of what I was looking for... This looked to have mostly to do with poor buying and merchandizing, not due to items being sold out due to the mad pricing purchases that haven't actually been happening. After spending far too much time in your store entertaining ridiculous sale claims and trying to find anything I at least kind of needed I finally put the few items I had in my basket down and just walked away. The amount of time I spent trying to get anywhere isn't even close to cover the fictitious savings. I decided to go to Staples across the parking lot and found everything I needed... Sorry to kick you when you're down and out, Target. But today's experience, even in your final closing days was very clear to me why you haven't succeeded.
