| - Came to Montreal with my dad and chose to rent from Dyad because of the good reviews. Boy were they right. This place is great.
Let's start off on how I made my reservation super early but got heatstroke the day of my tour and asked to reschedule just an hour before the tour. Despite the very late notice (Don't make this a habit, folks. It's only for emergencies.), Dyad was INCREDIBLY accommodating and let us reschedule for the next day, no problem. And the store owner gave us complimentary bottles of water (I genuinely think we looked like we were dying).
So, fast forward to the tour, which is awesome. It's given by David, an extremely friendly local who 1) first and foremost looks out for your safety and 2) knows so much about the city that he is able to cater the tour to focus on what you haven't seen yet. It was truly impressive.
I signed us up for the Old Montreal tour. Since we were staying in Old Montreal, David took us to a bunch of places we hadn't seen: Mile End, Little Italy, Lachine Canal, downtown, Mount Royal, and a bunch of other places I can't remember. We experienced the best ribs and best bagel in the city. Toured what looked to be an amazing Italian restaurant. At the beginning of this trip, I felt like a goofball who had never ridden a scooter before but what the heck you only live once. By the end, I felt like a local.
David and the Dyad staff were incredible. If you have the chance to take a tour here, definitely do it.
