  • I was originally scheduled with Dr. Asrari but I didn't want to deal with my discomfort any longer than necessary so I called and asked for the next available appointment and they fit me in the very next day with Dr. Sterling. I have never had a root canal before and had no idea what it would be like. I have to admit I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. Nikki sat me down, and right away asked what Pandora station I wanted to listen to! Threw me off a little, but in a good way. Extremely friendly staff. Dr. Sterling came in and explained the procedure and answered the 5,000 questions I had. (I seriously feel bad for anyone who has me as a patient). The only uncomfortable feeling the entire time was the numbing shots, and even those were almost painless (thanks to numbing gel beforehand). They leaned me back, I put on the headphones, they put a rubber biter in my mouth to relax my jaw on while it was open, and 40 minutes flew by! My fear beforehand was completely unfounded. It was an absolutely painless procedure. I really want to thanks Dr. Sterling, Nikki and the rest of the staff for making my first (and hopefully last) root canal a non-event!
