This particular park is a wee bit different from the other parks along the Verdun and Lasalle riverside in that, this has a small marina, a restaurant (Crescendo) a kids water park, and the Verdun arts Center. Still, there are still many places where you can lounge underneath a tree beside the water, read a book, meditate or just watch life go by peacefully. Lots of ducks(please don't feed them chips and bread, it's bad for them) come around dusk, if you're eagle eyed, you can even see fish near the shoreline sometimes and judging from some tree stumps, I think the Verdun beaver is back. Just a great park to chill in. It's packed like crazy in the summertime filled with families having picnics and BBQs or teams playing ultimate frisbee.
