"Bruno like Bruno Mars, but with no Mars and no money" That is how we met our salesman. I liked this guy. I remember the fond days of car shopping with my dad growing up and how he would tell me never trust a used car salesmen. For the most part I think dealerships are getting it right and figured out being somewhat straight forward and some honesty are probably better for business. We were in the market for a new Jeep and were looking at all dealerships, online and out of state. I came across a particular Jeep that fit our wants and made a call to the dealership. I received a call back within 15 minutes and got a test drive set up for Saturday morning at 9:00am. We came to Bill Luke for no other reason than they had a Jeep we thought we might like or we probably would not of drove so far.
Salesman. 5 stars.
Bruno was a straight up character. We had come to realize that Jeep Wranglers are hot and dealerships do not really do a lot of haggling over most styles because they don't have to. They simply sell and hold their value. Bruno was straight forward and there were no negotiations really. We had the online price and he was able to do what he could from his end, without doing the "let me talk to my sales manager bit" to get the price down. They had a price with rebates and we had done our research and decided this was a pretty good deal. Bruno was not pushy at all. Very helpful but serious. I liked his approach and style. Not once did anyone hound or follow us pushing to help. Once Bruno got us going he followed through to the end of the deal.
Finance Manager. 5 stars.
Ali was great as well. Very fast and efficient and good at was he does. Got a pretty competitive rate and explained the options we had to getting deal done that day. Problem was we started out the morning still in shopping mode and not dead set on buying anything yet. We did bring our trade in vehicle to see what they would give us, but did not bring the title. Being a Saturday and getting into the afternoon we had plans already and title would have to wait for Sunday.
Customer Service/Desk Gal. 1 star
So Sunday I set out to get the title issue fixed and get the deal closed. I had a question on the title after locating at the house and drove up to the dealership as Ali said he'd be there until 6:00pm. Tried calling on the way up but never got a hold of him. So I figured I'd just go in and talk to him. He was not in his office so I went over to the customer service desk. A less than thrilled youngster would not let me finish my thoughts other than to just give her the title and she'd handle. I told her I wanted to talk directly to Ali and she just looked at me like she wanted to beat me with a broom. Another gentleman came over and I explained to him what I was needing. He talked to Ms. Happy Pants and he also told me I was good to go and to hand over the title and she would take care of. I agreed but as I got in my vehicle I was doubting my actions. Luckily Ali called back and informed me that I needed to go to a 3rd party DMV and get title corrected. If he had not of called I would of drove all the way back home to find out I would of needed to come back. Fortunately there was a 3rd party DMV down the street and $27.00 dollars later I was able to hand over a proper title to Ali. You would think just buying a new vehicle the customer service gal could of at least acted somewhat helpful. Eye-rolling and interrupting customers is bad form. I know you all sell a ton of cars a month, but remember its the buyers paying your checks.
Overall a 3.66 star rating, so I'll be generous and round up to 4. But I'd get some different customer service reps as the ones on Saturday when we were there were not great either.
