  • Ingleside took nearly $1000 for services that didn't help, send you away, then recommend you put your animal down My feline had experienced acute respiratory failure, 3 weeks ago. I chose this clinic based on reviews. They admitted us, gave 2 IV doses of antibiotics and discharged us hours later, after pocketing nearly $900, cat in the same condition I brought her in earlier. 10 Day dose of antibiotic had done nothing for us either. Dr Toncray "offered" to euthanize my cat as soon as I brought her in. There were 2 follow up calls from the clinic, suggesting I put my 6 mo old kitten down - this after they took nearly 1 K from me. Due to homeopathy my cat's breathing started improving but 17 days after initial visit, cat experienced bleeding (I thought from the mouth, but it turned out to be nosebleed) . I go through the initial records I requested from Ingleside and notice "Possible sternum fracture". Completely freak out, Next day, Saturday, I call in to request emergency appointment because my cat was bleeding previous night - guess what ? They turned me away. So I inquire about the "possible sternum fracture" and hallelujah - Dr. Toncray no longer thinks there is one (this -based on the same x rays she took 3 weeks prior). So we went to yet another vet - paid for yet another set of x rays to confirm there is no fracture (thank you Dr. Toncray for finally making up your mind, but I no longer trust you) and the bleeding is most likely from nasal polyps. Have to schedule videoscope yet. So yeah - if you have a 1 K to spare, and want your animal euthanized for something as benign as polyps, if you need more confusion from a "professional" you paid to clear up yours, then turn you away 2 weeks later when your animal has an emergency - you can't go wrong with this place ... On the bright side - if you need your cat spayed go with Brian Serbin, he did awesome job on my senior cat, for a reasonable cost.
