  • Read the reviews and trust them! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! I hired them for moving restaurant equipment. I called and talked to a nice lady on the phone, told her what equipment I had to be moved, the locations etc. She quoted me $275 for the first 3 hours and then it would be additional per hour after, but I knew it would only take 3 hours so I accepted. They went to pick up the equipment from a house, and I met them at the drop off location. The owner was there and told me payment had to be made before he unloaded. I thought that was strange, but I said "Okay, what is the final amount and I'll write you a check" The owner told me he only takes cash, I said the lady didn't tell me that on the phone, but decided to just agree and then he told me the final price is 598.99. DOUBLE THE PRICE! I said nicely "oh, that's strange, can I see the price breakdown because I was quoted. He said there was no breakdown and that was the flat rate for the job because it was a big job and he's done that job before twice already with the previous business owners. I tried to politely reason with him that doubling the price is not okay and I am a new owner, I was quote a price, I was very specific with the receptionist about what it was we were moving. Nothing would of been a surprise to him. He wouldn't budge and said he wouldn't unload his truck until I paid him in cash. I tried to tell him he should of called me before loading the equipment up to notify me because I would of cancelled him if that was the case and they need to communicate better with their customers, the receptionist, and himself. I was getting frustrated so I decided to get the other owner involved and had him talk to him. Bottom line - we met in the middle because they were holding our equipment hostage in the truck and refused to unload it without payment. It was ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. I even asked to call the receptionist because she can confirm what I told her, and he said. "I am the owner and I do not need to call her". I suspect they are doing only cash, not paying taxes, and scamming people left and right. DO NOT HIRE THEM I URGE YOU! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!
