Good points:
- ample parking
- plenty of spectator seating
- spacious locker rooms with adjoining bathrooms & showers
- two sheets of ice
- restaurant/bar between rinks with window views to the ice
- decent size pro shop
- not cold. T-shirt and cover shirt suffices for men. Heavy coats not needed for the poorer circulation females.
Negatives:
- 2/3rds of pro shop taken up with merchandising the Knights. I expect some since their practice facility, but when the Knights' merchandising section is bigger than the team store at T-Mobile Arena...really? That's not the case with the Kings and Ducks practice facilities.
- Concession stand upstairs in the bar/restaurant space, not in the ground floor. Further, it doesn't open until 11 AM. 7 AM tournament game? Get your coffee at Starbucks before coming.
- 2:15 game on a Sunday...concession stand closed. Restaurant and bar open.
Of curiosity interest, sky lights above the ice sheets gave an interesting effect on the ice. It didn't hinder the play, but it was odd, but in a good way, to see one of the creases illuminated a bit brighter with natural light.
