I came to Sushisamba with a little bit of hesitation because it's sushi in Las Vegas, and we were a group of 20. And I don't even care for sushi too much. But Sushisamba was one of the better dining experiences I've had in Las Vegas, and I would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a great dinner while in town. First, the menu is a combination of Latin and Asian influences, and there is much more to the menu than just sushi (in fact, sushi lovers might be a little disappointed). The rock shrimp was unbelievably good. The meat options -- similar to Brazilian grilled meats -- were delicious. And despite the large crowd of 20 or so, our service was excellent. I loved the spicy tequila drink, so I had two. The sake cocktail was awesome. And I rarely waited more than 5 minutes for anything I requested.
While any size group can enjoy the restaurant, I do think it is perfect for a group because there are so many options to share and to try.
Excellent, and I'm going back.
