  • Rude service. Couldn't combine my two back to back reservations so I actually had to drive back to the airport and drop off my car, only to walk to the other end and rent another out. My ATM was charged over $1300 in incidental holds for over a week. I was told it would only be $300. When I left with the second rental one of the attendants told the other, "don't let her take that black car, something is wrong with it." I asked him what he meant by that and he said he was joking. Sure enough they gave me the black car. I had a 8pm drive from Las Vegas to the Central Valley which is over 6 hours. The car sounded like it was going to explode the entire way and I couldn't stop because it was too dangerous and I couldn't get another vehicle due to how late it was. Thrifty is very lucky I didn't get hurt due to their negligence. If placing people in faulty vehicles is your new business practice, prepare to be sued.
