Continuing with my Dive Bar Friday review this was pretty much where the night got good and ended.
Walking past you can not really get a feel for the place inside as the windows are completely blacked out.
Can not remember the time but there was no line up, just a few peeps hanging around the vicinity.
Cover was......I think $8 - going against another rule of Dive Bar Fridays to not pay cover.
Was it worth it - yup totally.
The atmosphere is pretty good here, everyone is having fun without the attitude and the music was awesome. The dj was switching up genres and keeping the crowd happy playing some anthems along the way for the crowd to go all karoke kings too.
The people here are not what you would expect for a place called 'tatoo rock parlour' - consider it a mix of non-hipsters, hipsters, and people who like wearing oversized headphones and baseball caps tilted to the side.
No idea how much the drinks were but I my wallet was not empty by the end of the night so they can not have been too bad and the service was quick and friendly.
Will definitely be going here again soon.
