  • We've been seeing Dr. Abendroth (now Sokoloff) for years. She has always been caring and concerned while never being pushy. I have yet to have one of those uncomfortable veterinary moments with her - you know the ones...where they say your pet needs XYZ, you think "gosh I can't afford that", and the vet makes you feel like the worst pet parent ever. And let me qualify that statement with the fact that she's been our vet thru cancer, heart issues, seizures, UTIs, eye issues... I have a lot of pets! Never once did she recommend something "extra" that wasn't necessary. Now that she has her own practice she seems to be even more diligent about not overcharging. I can also say that Dr. Shreves is a good guy as we have seen him when Dr A was unavailable. The new practice is clean and well laid out. The waiting room is never a zoo since there are only two doctors. I would not even consider taking my "kids" to another vet.
