I submitted a glass claim through Geico and the claim was sent to you for a full windshield repair. The repair was scheduled for last Sunday (2/28/16). I received a call from Safelite on Saturday (2/27/16) stating my vehicle needed to brought into your shop so the camera system could be calibrated. This was something that could not be done at my house. The only shop in the metro Phoenix area was your shop in Scottsdale, AZ (8175 E Raintree Scottsdale, AZ 85260). I was given an appointment for today (3/5/16) at 1pm. I showed up at 1pm after driving 28 miles one way to be told that they didn't have my windshield in stock and was not able to calibrate my camera because they did not have the right firmware to do so. As you can possibly imagine I was very furious and could not understand how this shop had my claim for a week and did not confirm to see if they had the windshield in stock and could do calibration. I was treated as I should expect them to not have had the windshield in stock or be able to do the calibration because my vehicle was so new. I was told they are going to order the windshield directly from the dealership and I would have to re-schedule to come back. I drove 56 miles round trip for nothing.
