When you book at Motel 6 you don't have high expectations and just want a place to sleep and have a shower in the morning.
This place pretty much met expectations. I was there two nights. The first night was very quiet and I slept fine, but the second night I had a family with kids next to me and found out the walls were extremely thin. This kept me up until I put in ear plugs. If you book here, you need to plan for this.
They don't have coffee makers in the rooms and I didn't see any coffee at the front desk either when I checked in, so each morning I wen down to the GetGo that's just down the street. When I checked out, though, I saw a couple of coffee urns at the front desk. Not sure at what time they put these out.
They also don't have shampoo in the rooms. The rooms, though, were ok and were clean and well maintained. The rooms open up right on the parking lot.
The location of this motel is good, just off a main highway and about midway between the airport and downtown. It's up on a hill and a little bit isolated for other businesses and street noise.
The free wifi is not too good. I kept on losing reception. They give you a code that
acts as a prepaid card, but it was only good for one day. I didn't bother going back for another code on my second day because the quality of the reception was so poor.
If you want to save money and just want a place to sleep, this place is recommended.
