I have to admit that when I eat out, I tend to go to hole in the wall places rather than chain restaurants. I like the small restaurant atmosphere rather than large bars but Cactus Club really did surprise me. It is a big chain restaurant but the seating is very cozy and gave me the small restaurant feels I was looking for. The servers were fantastic as well and we didn't have to wait at all on a busy Saturday night.
I ordered the four mushroom sirloin cooked medium rare with yam fries and asparagus as sides ($29). For drinks - I got the peach bellini ($6). For dessert I had the key lime pie ($8). The steak was done perfectly! I was really impressed with it! The sides were yummy as well. The key lime pie was amazing and I would definitely go back just for that. Sometimes I worry with chains that the quality can be sporadic depending on the cook but each time I come here, the food and service is great!
