| - Sorry, but after coming here 2 times, I still don't quite "get it." I think this is a place that coasts on its "one of the best restaurants in Madison" reputation. I had a weird-tasting ginger soup, scallops (delicious), and a steak. There was nothing really bad about it, but nothing that made my head explode with euphoria, either. They also do that fine-dining thing where you have a high price-to-potions ratio. The meal-sized version of the scallops, for example, is just a doubling of the appetizer portion, small to begin with.
Look, it's not bad food, but if you want fine dining, there are better places to go for better prices.
