  • I was a walk in (first mistake) I wanted a root touch up and a hair cut. The girl at front desk was sweet & welcoming. I got my color done by a girl named Taylor, she was very nice. I was happy with the color on my roots. When she finished my color she asked me if I was getting a hair cut, I told her yes. She then goes and tells a girl that I need a cut and I'm ready, I don't remember this girls name. She had short blondish looking hair and she was very petite. I sit in the chair and she asked what I wanted to do, I said "I want to keep it one length and take off a few inches" She says to me "I think layers would look nice." I then said AGAIN that I don't like layers. She said okay, well what about if I give you just some long layers that you won't really see? I agreed to it because she said that I wouldn't be able to tell they were there. (Second mistake) so she cuts my hair in two different layers (very noticeable) especially because of my two toned hair.. It was awful, she was new. A creative director named "Gerry" came to check the hair cut and I could tell he was critiquing the cut & was fixing it and asking her how she cut it. She seemed nervous. ( I was turned away from the mirror the whole time) or had my head down and didn't see the finished cut till he had fixed it. So the outcome was not what I wanted because I wanted one length and hated the layers I was supposed to "not see." So Gerry told me the only way to fix it was to cut it to the shortest layer or color the bottom lighter to blend the layers. I chose to get the color. I was not charged for the cut. I came in the next day to get bottom lightened (at no charge) They handled the situation well and were very helpful. But I would just rather have gotten a hair cut I asked for instead of being convinced into getting something that I don't like. I will be returning to Taylor for my future coloring..
