  • Yet another "why didn't I review this place months ago?" review. While I didn't make it to downtown Cleveland proper too much while I lived in the area, almost everytime I did I ended up here. It is easy walking distance to both The Q and The Jake (Progressive Field? Whats that?), and as such is easy to get to via the Rapid. You will find other bars in the area, of course, but the selection/prices at this place are hard to beat. Huuuuge variety. I also like the more sedate upstairs area, and the free peanuts. Of course, they provide the peanuts just to make you thirsty and drink more, but I throw a wrench into their little game by choosing to drink a lot anyway. As such, the peanuts are merely a free bonus. Check AND mate. I saw listings for food but never tried any of it. Didn't seem very "restaurant-y" at all. More of a "drink lots of beer and hang out" kind of place. Which is all I need it to be. Easily a place worth hitting up if you are downtown, and even moreso if you are catching a game/concert in the area.
