  • Park Theater gets all 5 stars!! Now after reading several reviews we were really up the the task at hand with lines and waiting for the end of the world. (not really but some of the reviews seemed that way) What we experienced was completely the opposite!! It seems that someone has been reading and getting a ear full of the absolute ridiculous situations they had their customers going through! Take some time to read a few reviews from December... Not good! I am here to tell you we had tickets inside of 10 mins, picked up from the ticket counter, 10-15 mins more and we were through security and in our seats! Honestly there really is not a bad seat in the house; we sat in section 201 A 1-2, not what I wanted but, still good seats. We were to the far right if facing the stage. Excellent view unobstructed as well. IL Volo was awesome! The Park theater really has grown up in a short time. Very spacious, moderately comfortable seats, a tad narrow but, nice with cub holders, (for the Park Bar drinks) Now maybe it is just me; the sound was off for the performance. It just did not have the full volume that I had experienced at the Palms or the Greek Theater in LA. Again, I may be missing something... it seems to not deliver the full spectrum of sound. Lighting was good, seats well marked, the staff was on their game as to where you sat and the best way to get to your seat. Linda, who assisted us, just shinned! Knew exactly where you need to go, the best way to get there or even cooler... would tell the patrons who they needed to talk to and would point them out, off they would go! She worked hard to get the seating plan down. Hugh improvement from the reviews I read! Parking: Getting in was slow. Maybe 20 mins to get through the line to pay for event parking.($8)(there are some ways to get free parking, so I was told) This is where Park Theater really stepped up it's game. They had people going to the IL Volo event park on level 3 & 4, then they had a designed exit plan that had us out of the garage in 10 mins. This is where I had brought a tent, just in case it was like some of the reviews I read earlier this week. As a whole Park theater has really watched, learned, and executed a plan that works well. I really hope your experience is as good as ours! Enjoy!!
