I'm sorry but I cannot for the life of me figure out why this place made #3 in the country for haunted houses. We purchased vip tickets beforehand as to beat the line, showed up only to find the vip line was longer than the standard line. That was the first "joke". We finally get inside and are greeted by a funeral viewing which was one of the neater parts of the experience. The guy's mother sure was pissed about the 2 blondes being in our group.
As for scare-factor my girlfriend who was absolutely not looking forward to being scared to death actually laughed her way through the place. Most of the actors left much to be desired and some kept following us getting in our face doing a terrible terrible job. A lot of the props have seen their day and definitely need a 'refresher'. The maze was simply just a maze, no one stalking you, nothing scary about it...the scariest part was my gf fearing freezing to death outside. I hate to leave negative reviews but I just can't say much good..If you're in the area and absolutely must go then have at it but next time we're opting for scarehouse. The whole experience felt very rushed also, we started off with 7 people in our group which was nice and intimate but right after the doll experience we had a HUGE group behind us, pushing us through. I didn't like that, plus being childish and screaming trying to push me out of the way...I don't take kindly to that. We were out of there in approx. 30 minutes, shameful.
Of course we went on a Sunday, so if it's much better on a Saturday or Friday night with more actors and a better experience then Sunday should be a lesser price. Save your money, unless you're easily scared you may enjoy it but for those looking for a great experience look elsewhere...
