  • We rented three toilets for a weekend outdoor event off in the desert outside Las Vegas. The normal price quoted was $85 for each standard stall, including pick-up and delivery. Our event was off-road, so we ended up at $100 each for the extra effort. We almost went with the two stalls on one tow-your-own trailer for $250, but decided delivery and pick-up would save us the hassle. At first, the customer service was five stars -- Jen got me a fast quote and happily answered my questions. But the morning of the event, I got frustrated with their service. The short version is that things were great to get my order ... then my calls and emails were neglected when I was having trouble. I would try a different toilet company next time. Here's the full tl;dr. I asked what time they'd be delivered on Friday, and never got an answer. I sent a Google Map dot where to deliver, and offered to meet them to show them where. Nobody answered the phone or my email. Then while I was in the back of our truck loading up supplies for the event, I missed a call from their driver. He was at the location, and since I didn't pick up my phone, he guestimated. When I called him back asap, he said they were already dropped and he was heading back to the office. Turns out, they were over a mile away from where I ordered. Why wasn't I told a delivery time to meet them there? Why did he call at the last possible second to confirm the location? I called and emailed to talk with someone about the mix-up, yet nobody answered. So we had a crew of our own guys lift them into our trucks, and we moved them ourselves to the correct spot. But I let it go, Elsa. Meanwhile, I asked what time on Monday they'd be picked up. No answer. I'm liable if they get damaged or stolen, so I needed to schedule security. They really should have answered me. So I decided to eff it, and whatever happens happens. Monday came and went, no call, no email. Finally, my friend called on Tuesday to see if it all went ok, and he tells me they were picked up fine. Crisis averted, but I didn't appreciate the lack of communication.
