  • Casella's has 99 5-star reviews, and I'm the 100th! By far, the most quality sandwich I've had in all of Arizona. Found Casella's through Yelp, while looking for a sandwich in the Scottsdale area. Plus: The meat, cheese, white roll, and mayo were very good on my cold Ham sandwich. Plus: Locally owned/operated (not a chain). The woman that took the order was nice and helpful. Plus: $6.10 for a full sandwich. Reasonably priced, especially for the size. Plus: They sell Yoo-Hoo, which quenches your thirst! Plus: The senior class panoramic photos of Saguaro High School almost made me wish I was a Sabercat too. Negative: The menu isn't on Yelp, and it should be! A picture of the menu is on urbanspoon. Neutral: The décor of Casella's reminds me of Sam's butcher shop on the Brady Bunch, but without the butcher counter. Very 1970s. Neutral: Should highlight the "half sandwich" more. The full is pretty large, and if I'd seen the half on the menu, I would have ordered it. Neutral: Don't take credit cards, but most of the Yelp reviews say this, so it shouldn't be a surprise. When I'm in the area again, I'll try the cheesesteak Marina. Sounds interesting.
