This Barbershop is a joke. My 12 year old son has a concert tonight so my wife took my son there this morning and was turned away! He told my wife that he doesn't use scissors and it will take him and hour and a half to cut his hair! I think the barbers name was Scott. He kept saying he only uses clippers. I thought it would be cool to have my wife take my son to an Italian barbershop because he is Italian. I guess whatever sports game Scott was watching was more important than doing his job. I'm not sure if the real barber was tied up in the back and the man she spoke with was a robber or something but we will NEVER patron this place again. If they were black I would swear this was because of prejudice but it appears as though it was because Angelo's has a lazy barber working early Saturday mornings that would rather turn away women and children than to do that thing he went to school for...cutting hair! My wife asked him directly what his problem was and eventually just asked if he was going to cut our son's hair. He said, "No". There are other barbers in the area and I don't believe this is a reputable establishment in Gilbert. If I could give zero stars I would because we weren't able to get my boy's haircut today. Angelo's a barbershop? I couldn't tell...?
