  • Just saw the promo for the Anthony Bourdain show where Dinette chef said Pittsburghers were not used to good ingredients and food. While I did not post a review after eating there several weeks ago, now I feel I must. The mediocre food was one thing, but the pompous attitude of the chef was beyond belief. We had the vegetable tempura for an appetizer - it was incredibly dry, with a thick, pastey coating, so we asked if the sauce was missing. The waitress came back and said no. We asked if we could have a little something - an aioli or marinara. The poor waitress had to come back and say "no, the chef believed in the INTEGRITY" of her dishes". Seriously!
