I was on the hunt for Siao pao in little vegas china town. I tried sunville which had some decent tasting baked pork buns, but had a lot of bread which was odd for baked porked buns. I then went the lee's sandwhich store which had some decent pork steamed buns but was not flavored the way I was used to. Then I was recommended to go to diamond bakery. Unfortunately, the Siao pao was all sold out. I was told to return between 11-3pm the next day which I did. I bought eight steamed pork buns for $1.90 each. They were really good. Each were individually wrapped and of course had he wax paper on the bottom. The flavor of the cooked pork was excellent. The bun was not too dry which can often happen with pork buns. And the meet to bun ratio was excellent. I would not say it was the best pork bun I ever had... I have had better in NYC and Philly China towns. But if you are looking for Siao pao in the Vegas Chinatown go to the diamond bakery between 11-3 pm.
