| - The people that wrote these reviews are nuts!! First off, these are NOT churros. The company website makes that clear. A churro is like a crispy french toast stick coated in cinnamon sugar. These "xooros", ARE a churro-shaped pastry, but that's where the similarity ends. So if you want an authentic churro, don't go here. If you want a churro-shaped pastry filled with your choice of several creme fillings, and dipped in white, milk or dark chocolate, and coated with a choice of about a half dozen toppings, then these things are awesome!!
And those who said they took one bite and threw it away, how cynical are you? it's creme filled pastry dipped in chocolate...what's not to love. They harden the chocolate on the outside, then there's a doughy pastry on the inside, and a creamy filling in the middle. Excellent combo!
And the price, $4.50ish for about a foot-long pastry. Less than you'd pay for ice cream at cold stone, or a slice of cheesecake at the cheesecake factory, or most any other desert for that matter.
The young lady working the counter was very friendly and helpful, and I will definitely be going back to try ALL flavors!! For a unique treat, ignore all these misguided reviews and try it for yourself with an open mind, and then tell all your friends!!
