  • I didn't want to write my review right away. I visited the salon after reading the great reviews, and after my pink and white acrylics, (done at another salon) were falling off and looking BAD. I just had to find another place, I want to preface my review by saying to the readers I'm VERY picky, and have worn pink and whites for 20 years continuously, with only one "break" last year to try the gel nail phenomenon, only to have my pink and whites reapplied. They just work better for me. Try finding a salon that does them well, and you might be in for a journey. I LOVED the new set I had here over a month ago! The acrylic isn't so "see through" so it hides any imperfections while still looking natural. The gentleman at the front of the salon, did a beautiful job. The salon is easy to get to, decorated beautifully, and after 3 weeks, they were not lifting. The fill was done perfectly, and they still look as gorgeous as when I got them. Do not feel you need an expensive Scottsdale salon to get great nails - Five Star Nails will make you happy! I saw a few other customers' nails while there, and they do good work with Gel also.
