| - Started my experience with Larry h miller by requesting information on a ram 2500. I was promptly sent an email stating that "your time is valuable and that's why we can do 90% of your transaction before coming in". That sounded great to me due to varying hours and a busy work schedule. So I started exchanging emails with Jerry Schwelling. The only question I had is what the price of the truck is out the door. Well 13 emails back and forth later, Jerry still wouldn't tell me the price out the door. I answered all of his questions regarding a trade in, which specific ram 2500 I wanted, options I desired, and what I could put down on the vehicle. Yet Jerry still wouldn't answer my only actual question. So I'd have to say he's using some pretty deceptive tactics and would constantly ask, "what time can you come in today". Jerry, your dealership states that 90% of the deal can be done online. If you can't provide the actual price of the truck then I would say that's a straight up lie and encouraging people to make purchases without actually thinking them through. So in my final email I asked one more time for the out the door price, and then no response.
So I started emailing his assistant Josh Salazar. He actually provided the final price of the truck! Wow, finally. He quoted me at $42,600. The price of that specific truck on the website is about 35k. Doing the calculations myself I found that figure was much higher than it should be. Probably an insane doc fee that is actually illegal in most states. So I asked if he could break down the out the door price so I could see the fees. And again just like Jerry, no response.
The online sales people at this dealership are full of lies, empty promises, and deceptive selling techniques. They should really say, "our online sales people will waste your time and then once you catch them being deceptive, they'll just stop responding." You guys literally could have had me in the dealership if you just answered the question. You can't do 90% of your deal online with this people. Avoid them at all cost! So Jerry and John, I won't be coming in and you will not get business from me.
