  • First trip to Az and it may not be my last. However this review is for the airport. Um well I can at least say it's small so things are easy to get to. With that smallness... restaurants are limited and it seemed to me that a lot of the airport was either old and run down or under construction. If your used to big city airports like Atlanta. Well don't expect the same here. You won't find many outlets for your devices. You also won't find even half enough seats for your flight at the terminals. But the biggest shocker to me. Phoenix is known for its modern and trendy buildings and art. They actually have full printed guides in art and architecture. But this airport has missed that. It really does not feel connected to the local scene at all. On the really bad side. TSA here seems to have the worst attitude and they are super picky. So here is my advice. Anything and I do mean anything you have in or on you...... put it in a basket. Wallet. Watch glasses hat keys belt shoes. And if you have a piece of candy or a mint in your pocket. Put that in a basket too. Make sure your laptop and cell phone are flat and nothing is on top of them. Make sure you don't just pile your things into 1 basket. Everything needs to be easily seen. And if you do all of that just right. Maybe you will be lucky enough to only get a quick pat down on the other side of the security. Seriously. All this and that was the special priority and pre TSA screening lines. I seriously wonder what those who have to go through the normal security have to deal with. I almost picture it like a nudist camp with TSA people as the host. Lol So good luck and remember to wear your good clean underwear. Like mom always said you never know what's gonna happen. Or in this case. What TSA agent is going to see them.
