  • I love this place! I've been here twice and both times the service was amazing, and the food was amazing.. everything was amazing! I always feel a little bit guilty going to other sushi places as I feel like I'm betraying this joint LOL I also put off writing this review for the longest time, because my experience here was more than perfect and I just didn't know how to put it all into words. Did I mention the service here is amazing? I can honestly say that I have never received better service anywhere than I have here -- they really go above and beyond. The first time I came here, we had ordered uni (among other things).. just as I was saying how amazing it was, the chef came out with two more orders of uni for us because he didn't think the first order was good enough quality! The second time I came here and ordered Uni, the chef brought out more Uni from Japan so that I could compare it to the original from California! I am no uni connoisseur, but there was a noticeable (not in a bad way) difference! This was a very nice gesture, and I really liked that the chef takes time to get your opinion on the food. I never order California rolls because they are normally at the bottom of the sushi chain for me with that gross imitation crab meat & whatnot.. but OH leT me tellll ya .. it's SO DELICIOUS here! Huge lumps of real crab with avocado.. I can't help but crave their California roll sometimes being the crab lover I am. MMMmmm MMMMMM MMMMMMMM. I also ordered the miso glazed black cod, and yuzu soy yellowtail along with some others that I forget. Everything was so fresh and delicious that you really can't go wrong with any item on this menu. My boyfriend has gotten so sick of sushi/japanese food since I always drag him with me on my adventures, but this is one place he WILL come with me to.. so that says a lot! Everyone here is very friendly, which makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. It really makes a difference when I go to restaurants because it sets the mood.. no one wants to start their meal with a debbie downer as it makes it hard to even enjoy your food! Just as I thought my amazing experience was over, they came out with these sushi keychains for me! How cute!
