This location of EoS is just 15 minutes from my new place, which was the first thing that tempted me to try it out. My home plate gym is the location on 7070 Durango, but it's getting too busy for me to head over there from the Santa Fe Station area. This location is really nice, clean, and the cardio machines are all in working order.
The only issue I had is that they seem to be missing a few favorite machines of mine, like the Power Squat machine so I can safely squat heavy without injuring my neck and shoulders. That, and maybe an upgrade in AC/fan units on the ceiling, would be awesome.
It's nicely tucked away behind a strip mall, which gives it this appeal that it's kind of an insider's club. The bathroom/locker rooms are gorgeous and very modern. It has a nice boutique feel to it just before you walk back out to slay your workout.
I do love the layout, with the cardio all being located upstairs and the functional fitness area being given some privacy from the dudebros that occasionally come in to lift really loudly/arrogantly. (Apparently even on this side of the 95, you can't avoid them.)
I'll definitely be coming back regularly for my workouts.
