  • Lending Tree advertises for Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC). I filled out the form and immediately got a flood of phone calls from companies offering refinancing. Not one of them offered HELOCs. And they wouldn't stop calling. Lending Tree may be the biggest nuisance on the internet. You'll be sorry if you call them. I was.
