  • I'm a California girl so I know parks here in Vegas will never be as good. This is a cool place to come relax, fish in the small ponds, and have some lunch on the picnic benches. There are plenty of trees which provide shade and a cooler breeze. I personally prefer parks with a trail where runners can use kind of distanced away from the crowds. Maybe it did have one but I didn't see it. Whereas there are walkways, there's too many people for you to have a nice jog on. The only reason I won't be back is the $6 entrance fee. I get it. The state needs to preserve it. But I won't pay that several times a week. It's a nice park but not amazing. My search for a nice trail to run on continues...
