We have seen reviews and features for T. Cooks for a few years and finally made the drive from the East Valley to check it out for our 10th anniversary. It was so worth it. The ambiance was beautiful, quiet, classy. The staff was great, especially our waiter Chris. He REALLY knew his wines and was able to answer all of our questions on the menu. He timed dinner perfectly so we were never waiting but also didn't feel rushed.
And the food... So so good. We ordered the Octopus/Calamari. It was delicious, but didn't necessarily stand out compared to other reputable steakhouses. For the main course we both got the Grilled Prime Strip. It was 12 oz of perfectly flavored, juicy steak. Probably the best steak I have had in the past 10 years. Believe it or not the best part of the meal was the accompaniments- lived the combination of shishito peppers and heirloom tomatoes was perfect. After dinner we took a romantic stroll through the grounds which were beautiful and perfect for a romantic date night.
