  • Have to admit that I've never been a big fan of Petsmart, but this store deserves all 5 stars!! Hubby and I found a lost puppy at a nearby golf course late Sat, and after every kind of effort to get this puppy home, I was told Petsmart vet dept will scan for a microchip! The pup had a chip, owners were called, and within 10 minutes a four month old 'Lucas' was reunited with his beautiful family with two young girls! If you happen to find a list dog, just go straight to Petsmart to check for a microchip and save all that crazy time posting on Craigslist, rescue sites, posting fliers... you get the idea! And if you haven't yet microchipped your pet, just imagine someone like me spending a huge effort to find the owner, or worse, dropping the animal at the County Shelter. Or, scanning for a chip and being reunited right away!
