  • We recently retired from out of state and first came in contact with Dave Loyd at the Home Show. What I appreciated about him most was that instead of a sales pitch, I got an education. He answered questions about what I wanted to grow, steered me towards the best varieties and answered the questions that I didn't know enough to ask. We eventually chose 3 citrus to go along a wall. We also decided to go with their guarantee program before anyone came out and noticed how many dead things I was attempting to cultivate. Frankly, I have been impressed not just with Dave and his knowledge and suggestions but everyone from Moon Valley that I have dealt with. The guys who came and dug out an unwanted tree noticed my oleanders needed a fungicide and suggested I tell the gardener to disinfect his tools. They calmed my fears about extending the irrigation and even suggested the best time to trim some of my other trees. They left without a trace that they had just removed a tree. Quick, efficient and neat. We never felt rushed or pressured to purchase and I appreciate all the information that helped us make an informed decision. With my new trees properly planted, by MV staff I am confident that they will grow. By this time next year, I should have fresh lemonade, there will be limes for Margaritas and my husband will be squeezing fresh oranges for my breakfast.
