rev:text	An Italian restaurant that feels like an old speakeasy. The ambience is unique with a secret entrance & a live Sinatra like performer who will sing at your table. There is the occasional magician or lady selling roses too. The service follows the old speakeasy feel. Reservations are recommended, otherwise try to grab a seat at the bar (which can be hard to come by). When you call to make a reservation you'll get an abrupt "yeah, " making it feel like you're part of a secret Italian meeting. You'll get the same "what do you want attitude" when you come in the front door. It's all part of the appeal to the restaurant. Once you get your table, the servers are attentive & the food arrives in a timely fashion. There is a view of the kitchen from some of the seating at the bar and booths. Further inside, you get a view of the Sinatra-like performer. There's also room room for larger parties. The food quality here is great. I'm not a huge fan of Italian food, but everything here is really good. Ma's meatballs is two huge meatballs served with sauce and peppers that add a nice spice. The lasagna portion is gigantic & my fave. The chicken parmigiana and chicken Marsala are tasty traditional choices, but I would recommend trying something more original like the chicken Anastasia. For dessert the turtle cheesecake hits the spot. The prices are $20-$30 for dinner, but the portions are huge so you'll likely have leftovers. If you get an appetizer, consider sharing an entree. They also have 2for1 Tuesdays to offset cost. I haven't been for lunch, but it looks like you can get a sandwich for $10, so not bad. I'd like to try the meatball sandwich someday!
