Just moved to the area so I decided to try this salon. First mistake was not reading the other reviews here . Second hint that this was going to be a bad experience was that the door lacked any signage about the hours of operation and on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend the place was totally empty.
3 ladies and 1 man were sitting in the back listening to their I Phones and non English music was blasting from the TV. I sat down for the manicure and the gal asked me twice if I wanted gel - after I declined again, she took off my polish and then soaked my nails. I have had manicures for over 20 year and have always had my nails filed before they were wet. After a a soak she filed the top of my nails but never really worked on the shape. In fact . my thumb nail had broken a few days ago and she never reshaped it. Then whips out her tools from a drawer - nothing sanitized and that's when I decided this was going to be a polish change and I was out of there. I told her I did not want my cuticles cut and she said three times that I needed them cut.
My nails are full of bubbles and are ready to be serviced by a salon in the area that is looking for someone who gets weekly manicures and monthly pedicures and waxes. This place will never have my business and I am considering reporting their lack of hygine to the board of health as I am confident they are regularly using unsanitized tools
