  • Wow this place has gone downhill. I don't have high expectations for a diner. But I do want quality food served fast. Walked in with a buddy at 8:30 on a Friday night. They were busy, but we were seated immediately. That was the high point of the night. Waitress approached after about 5 minutes to take our drink order. We ordered the fried pickles at the same time as our drinks because we were starving. Pickles came out about 20 minutes later. How long does it take to fry some damn pickles?!? Seriously. Waitress didn't take our order until we were halfway done with the pickles. I ordered the cheesesteak and my buddy ordered the fried flounder sandwich. Then we waited. And waited. 30 minutes later the waitress comes to our table and says our food is up next. Meanwhile tables who were seated after us were already eating. Finally our food arrives around 9:30....1 HOUR after we sat down. My cheesesteak tasted like it had been sitting on the griddle for a while. Plus it was full of fat and gristle. Pretty much got the impression the kitchen forgot about our food. We ate because we were hungry, but I will not be back. With so many other options in Charlotte, I'm not wasting my time here.
