  • On Saturday 12/1, our group held a holiday party at the Shade Tree Women and Children's Shelter. We decided on doing a face painting and balloon twisting activity for the kids. On short notice, Lucy set us up with a makeup artist and balloon twister. She had a commitment at the Gallery that she could not break. Her team arrived on time started working with the kids right away. With over 100 kids and a few adults, they handled it like clockwork and with a smile. Tattoos, balloon's and face painting went for 2 straight hours and no kids was turned away. Many received multiple's. To my surprise, Lucy the owner arrives to assist and bring the lines down. She rushed over as soon as her previous commitment was over. It was a very touching gesture in light of the venue and the kids circumstances, I highly recommend Amazing face painting for their ability to work with us on short notice, promptness and spirit to serve the less fortunate in our case with Shade Tree. Keep up the good work Lucy and team. The smile's you brought to those kid's faces will never be forgotten. Merry X-MAS!
