  • I took my golden retriever Spencer in for grooming this past Friday, he developed an extreme hot spot and the most disgusting smell. I called and spoke with the salon manager who put me on hold for 10 minutes, when the MOD finally got on the phone she asked me "What can I help you with?" in the rudest tone. So not only was I placed on hold no one updated her on my reason for calling. I explained what happened and she again in a rude tone asked "So what is it you are wanting from us?" while laughing and having a side conversation with another employee. I came back the following day and spoke with Theresa, who was so extremely helpful by refunding my money as well as taking care of the expense to take him to the vet next door. The vet confirmed it was a hot spot from brushing out mats, which are meant to be shaved as to not hurt the animal. While I appreciate the help from Theresa my dog now has the entire side of his neck shaved and is in constant discomfort and has to be separated from our other animals. I will not be shopping at Petco ever again.
